Birmingham, AL, Bombing Survivor to Speak at Avila University
Carolyn Maull McKinstry narrowly missed being killed by the same bombing which killed four of her friends in Birmingham in 1963. She will be speaking on October 20th at the Harry S. Truman Distinguished Lecture Series at Avila University.

Kansas City local Annie Presley has proven to be a success in taking on crucial roles in national political campaigns—even serving on the (George W.) Bush for President campaign as National Deputy Director of Finance from 1999-2001. After some 30 years working in fundraising and political consulting, Presley is now the co-author of three recently-published books that deal with the issues surrounding childhood, marriage or death.
