Vets To Receive Free Dental Care from Martin City Dentist

Veterans can receive free dental care from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 22. Dental Care Center of South Kansas City is hosting a Free Dental Day to show their appreciation for active and retired military members.

“Veterans have done so much for all Americans and for our community. This is our small way of thanking them for the sacrifices they have made for our country,” said Dr. Gregory Stiver, owner of Dental Care Center of South Kansas City.

Military members in need of a professional dental cleaning, tooth extraction, or dental filling should call the office (816-839-9274) to schedule an appointment for that day.

The Free Dental Day also will include a kids carnival from 1 to 3 p.m. with bounce houses, food trucks, a raffle, and giveaways from area restaurants. At 1:30 p.m., the family dentist office will be making a special presentation to one local veteran.

Dr. Stiver added that this will be a day to celebrate veterans and what they have done.

“I am honored to be able to show them that their service is still valued,” he said.

The Dental Care Center of South Kansas City, 325 E. 135 St., will show their appreciation for military members on November 22.

Dr. Stiver is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and has been practicing dentistry since 1984. He began first as a dental associate and then started his own practice in 1986. He still practices at Dental Care Center of South Kansas City while working as the practice’s CEO.

Having worked with a variety of dental patients, Dr. Stiver takes a special interest in helping patients overcome their dental anxiety or fear. He has taken extensive training in dental implants and IV sedation. Dental implants are the most durable and reliable way to replace missing teeth. The dental implants are made from titanium and naturally fuse to the jawbone. Once the implants have healed, they can be restored with crowns, bridges, or dentures.

Dental Care Center of South Kansas City welcomes new dental patients of all ages and is known to cater to patients who are afraid of the dentist. To schedule an appointment, contact the office today at 816-839-9274 or fill out a new patient form at http://smile11.com/contact-us.
