BRONX, NY/KANSAS CITY, MO (June 1, 2018) – In a bold move to bring longevity and stability to the Kansas City region, Centers Health Care, the largest continuum of post-acute care facilities in the northeast, has officially acquired all three former Serenity Care Group locations in the Kansas City market, which include:

  • The 145-bed Serenity Rehabilitation and Nursing Overland Park which will now be called Overland Park Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing
  • The 180-bed Serenity Rehabilitation and Nursing Kansas City which will now be called Kansas City Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing
  • The 98-bed Serenity Rehabilitation and Nursing Butler which will now be called Butler Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing

“With the addition of the three Serenity Care Group facilities, our world class services will be available to more than 400 people throughout the Kansas City region,” said Kenny Rozenberg, CEO of Centers Health Care. “Our homes reach from the Woodbridge area of Kansas City to Overland Park, Kansas, and south to Butler, Missouri. Our goal is to one day offer the full spectrum of services available now through the Centers Health Care northeast continuum throughout the Midwest.”

Centers Health Care offers short-term and long-term residents a wide range of programs in 45 facilities covering five states. Their reputation as an industry leader in recovery and rehabilitation is well known. The services include Long Term Care, Home Care, Adult Day Care, Managed Long Term Care and Medical Transportation, along with specialty care services such as renal dialysis, ventilator care, and more.

“We can now promise the services, support, expertise and training from one of the country’s largest and most complete post-acute health care teams to the people of the Kansas City region, yet deliver it with the same ‘neighbors caring for neighbors’ community approach that will make these locations so special,” said Rozenberg.
