Patio concert features woodwinds and ice cream social
A woodwind quartet, Ninkasi, will perform at an outdoor patio concert on Sunday, August 26, at 7 pm at First Baptist Church of Kansas City at the corner of Red Bridge and Wornall Roads. The concert is free. Seating is provided.
Homemade ice cream and dessert will be served from 6 to 7 pm. The public is invited.
Ninkasi performs ragtime, tango, waltz and Latin Jazz. Many of their composers are from Kansas City from the early 20th century. Quartet members are Tom Aber, Mark Cohick, Greg Briggs and Pat Conway.
