
Homes for the Holiday Christmas Decorating Contest is Back!
Some of the rules have changed, but the winnings are the same. The second annual Homes for the Holiday Christmas Lighting Contest begins now.
The Martin City Telegraph along with Rosehill Gardens and Euston Hardware are sponsoring the popular south KC Christmas lighting contest. Last year’s top three winners are not eligible to compete this year.
The prize for best overall is $100 in cash from the Telegraph. For most elegant as well as best usage of plants and trees is a $100 gift certificate from Rosehill Gardens. And a $100 gift certificate from Euston Hardware will go toward most creative and most lights. All three will receive a yard sign announcing your home as a 2019 winner. The top 10 decorators will receive homemade Christmas cookies from Jovito’s.

Judging takes place December 14-16. Judges will include participants from Rosehill Gardens, Euston Hardware, Sidelines Custom Florals, and the Martin City Telegraph.
The winners will be announced in the December 21 edition of the Telegraph.
