$1000 reward for missing dog
A 12-year-old dog who has appeared in numerous local theater productions has disappeared. Her owner is offering a $1000 reward for her safe return.
Jeanne Beachwood, owner of Martin City Melodrama and Vaudeville Co., 702 Blue Ridge Blvd , says she came home after a power outage Tuesday, January 15, to discover one of her dogs was missing. Beachwood lives near Grandview Rd.
Roxie is a white female beagle who is deaf. Beachwood says Roxie likes to bark despite her lack of hearing.
Roxie has appeared on stage with Beachwood during many Martin City Melodrama performances. Beachwood frequently features her dogs as part of the vaudeville acts.
Roxie was adopted from Wayside Waifs. She is micro-chipped.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of the dog, please call Beachwood at 913-642-7576.
