Spring Break Camps keep kids busy

Spring is right around the corner! What are your kids doing for Spring Break? We have a few suggestions.

Eagles Gymnastics –  209 W. 135 St. Eagles has two camps to choose from. March 11-15 or March 18-22, 8am-5pm. Children will participate in gymnastics, obstacle courses, cooking, science experiments, games, crafts and more. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are included. 816-941-9529

Camp K: March Madness – The View, 13500 Byars Rd., Grandview. Children will participate in games, activities, arts and crafats, a field trip, and more. Ages 6-12. March 18-22. Registration closes on March 11. 816-316-4888. http://www.grandview.org

Mac-n-Seitz – 13705 Holmes Rd. The Mac N Seitz Blacksox offer two Spring Break Baseball Camps. March 12-13 and March 19-20, both from 9 am – 12 pm.These camps will focus on position-specific skill work, warm up routines, proper mechanics, proper discipline and fundamentals that are unique to each position. 816-942.9992 or info@macnseitz.com

Hillcrest Community Center – 10401 Hillcrest Rd., is offering a week-long day camp for children from 6 through 13 years old from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 18, through Friday, March 22, for $40 per child or $10 per day. Participants will play team-building games, engage in enrichment activities, work on art projects and go on field trips. Lunch will be provided.  816-513-8560 or kcparks.org.
