This Wednesday, hear the local candidates who are running to represent South KC

The South KC Candidate Forum includes those running for Jackson County Sheriff, Jackson County Prosecuting Attorney, and state house and state senate representatives.

On Wednesday, July 15, south Kansas City voters will have an opportunity to hear from the candidates running in the August 4 primaries thanks to an online forum via Zoom.

The South KC Candidate Forum includes those running for Jackson County Sheriff, Jackson County Prosecuting Attorney, and state house and state senate representatives. (To view which House district you are in, go here. To view which Senate district you are in, go here.)

To view the forum, participants must register at SouthKCCandidateForum.EventBrite.com. An email will be sent to the registered participant prior to the forum with the Zoom link. Interested voters can also register and attend at the Trailside Center, 99th & Holmes.

The event is sponsored by Center Planning and Development Council, Hickman Mills United Neighborhoods, Marlborough Community Coalition, and Waldo Tower Association. The forum will be moderated by Stacey Johnson-Cosby, former 6th District city council candidate and organizer for several south Kansas City civic associations.
