Free Pop Up Notaries

While advanced voting is available to anyone, you will need to have your mail-in ballot envelope notarized if you are 65 and younger and not at risk of Covid-19. To help the process, several notaries in south KC have scheduled free pop-up notarization clinics. 

  • October 10 & 17 – KC Pet Project., 7077 Elmwood in Swope Park. 2-4 pm on October 10; 11 am – 1 pm on October 17. Free notarization of voters’ absentee or mail-in ballots. Bilingual notarization services available. Participants receive a complimentary bag of pet food. 
  • October 10 & 17 –   Ballot Notarization Station at Red Bridge Shopping Center. 1 to 6 pm. Bring your mail-in ballots to the Red Bridge Shopping Center parking lot, south of US Bank and have it notarized for free by notary Jeff Buckley. A valid Missouri state ID and a properly worn mask are required. DO NOT sign your ballot envelope until you are in front of a notary. Please bring a pen. Ballot notarization only.
  • October 11 – Quinn’s Laundry, 99th & Holmes, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Missouri notaries will be available to notarize absentee and mail-in ballot envelopes for Missouri residents only. Voter registration cards and absentee/mail-in ballot applications will be on hand. Sponsored by Voters Helping Voters, a local, non-partisan grassroots organization.
