WingStop lands in south KC

WingStop quickly became a fan favorite when it first opened its doors in 1994. Today there are more than 1,500 restaurants open across the globe. In 1997, it opened its first franchised Wingstop location. By 2002 WingStop had served the world one billion wings. 

Today, the newest WingStop location opened its doors on March 5 at 8019 State Line. 

General Manager, Raul Wong arrived from San Antonio to help transition the opening as well as train employees.

“Despite circumstance, business has kept pretty steady,” said Wong. “Our 60 Cent Boneless Wings nights are pretty popular.”

Lobby seating is available at the State Line location; however, walk-up ordering, carry-out and delivery are still being offered.
