Police Need Leads
The Grandview Police Department and the Greater KC Crime Stoppers TIPS Hotline are seeking the public’s assistance in solving the April 17, 2020, slaying of 21-year-old mother Alexuas Acord, a shooting victim who was found deceased in a vehicle in the 13100 block of 15th St. in Grandview.
Detectives are continuing to work the case, and several anonymous tips have been received, but more information is needed to file charges.
The reward for information leading to an arrest or filing charges in Acord’s killing was recently increased to up to $2,500. Tipsters’ identity is kept anonymous, and tipsters do not have to testify in court to receive a reward.
Anyone with information about Acord’s slaying is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
