Cleanup Saturday for unwanted bulky items

Cleanup Saturday

KCMO residents may drop off unwanted bulky items such as old furniture, leaves & brush, tires with or without rims and trash for free from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 26, at Center Alternative School, 8434 Paseo.

Electronics also will be accepted for the following fees:  $5 for CRT monitors, $10 for any unit containing Freon, $20 for LED/LCD/plasma TVs, $30 for CRT TVs 26 inches or less and $50 for CRT TVs 27 inches or more and wood console and big screen/projection TVs.

The cleanup is sponsored by Council members Lee Barnes, Jr., and Ryana Parks-Shaw and will be conducted by the Neighborhoods and Public Works Departments.

  1. Please do this for the 3rd district.Because the trash is out of hand it’s everywhere.
