Hiring fair makes it easy to apply and interview on-site for Public Works positions
Kansas City Public Works is now hiring and will be hosting a job fair.

9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Brush Creek Community Center, 3801 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd
Open positions:
- Maintenance Workers
- Equipment Operators
Both positions are essential and provide core, basic services that make streets and neighborhoods smoother, safer and cleaner. Activities include, but are not limited to: pothole patching, street maintenance, snow plowing, signs and street markings, curbside trash and recycling pickup and illegal dump and neighborhood cleanups.
Apply & interview:
Public Works will be doing on-the-spot interviews. Resumes and cover letters are not necessary but applications will have to be filled out on-site. Driver’s licenses are strongly preferred for these positions, however positions are available that do not require a driver’s license. There will be on-site drug screenings and background checks.
