First-Ever “420 Flower Fest” To Feature Certified Medical Cannabis Experts, Live Music, Hot Rods, Food Trucks, and a Chiefs Hall of Famer.
April 20th or “4/20” has long been celebrated as a smoking party holiday in the cannabis community. However this year, the first-ever 420 Flower Fest puts the focus on the medical benefits of cannabis.
“Anyone can throw a pot-party on 4/20,” said Doug Galant, Owner of ReLeaf Resources Dispensary. “We serve an enormous number of patients who have found relief with properly managed medical cannabis,” he added. “This family celebration is for them. It’s all about helping people know more, feeling better, and being better.”
On Wednesday, April 20, from 9 am to 9 pm, ReLeaf Resources Dispensary will hold a 420 Flower Festival at its location outdoors at 13836 S. U.S. 71 Hwy in Grandview. Participants can wander through a giant tent to learn about natural relief for chronic pain, PTSD, cancer treatment therapies, recovery from opioid addictions, and a host of other conditions. A ribbon cutting sponsored by the Grandview Chamber of Commerce will kick off the event.
The event will also feature over 15 cannibas brands, a doctor who will prescribe or renew medical cards, discounts, live music, games and food trucks. Chiefs Hall of Famer Neil Smith will sign autographs from noon to 2 pm.
