The Grandview Department of Motor Vehicle is changing the way you register your cars, boats and other vehicles. Introducing a new service: registration renewals by phone.
Here’s how it works. Simply call the Grandview office at (816) 316-4851. DMV representatives will verify your information in the state system, process your registration and take your payment over the phone. It’s that easy!
Renewal paperwork and stickers can either be mailed or picked up at Grandview City Hall. Only debit/credit card payments can be accepted over the phone, so the payment will include a 2.25% fee.
The Grandview DMV is the only city-run office in the State of Missouri and has been in operation since the 1980s. The local office serves about 40,000 customers every year. Customers wanting to renew registrations in person should get in line before they arrive at www.grandview.org/qless for a shorter wait time.
