Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting at The View: December 1, 6 pm

It’s a magical moment when Mayor Leonard Jones flips the switch and lights up the Mayor’s Christmas Tree. Every Thursday after Thanksgiving, hundreds of families come to The View to listen to kids from Grandview C-4 Elementary schools sing carols before heading outside to light the tree. A perfect Christmas holiday in a Lake Tahoe cabin turns into chaos when two couples end up unexpectedly double booked! The wives get along dandily, but the husbands mix together like oil and water. The four become stranded in the cabin due to a snowstorm. Throw in an escaped ax murderer and a couple plot twists to stir things up even more and you’ve got an avalanche of craziness.

A Very Merry Christmas at the Alexander Majors Barn: December 10 from 7 am – 9 pm
