It’s difficult to stay on a keto diet when there’s a Super Bowl party or Valentine’s Day celebration in your near future. The diet, which is low carb but high fat and protein, can be difficult at any time of the year if you don’t have time to cook.

Kat’s Kakery, 208 Blue Ridge Extension, in Grandview, has come to the rescue. In addition to offering gluten-free, low-carb menu items, Kat’s Kakery has partnered with Market Wagon, an online ordering and delivery service for produce, meat, dairy, and prepared foods from local farmers and artisan food producers. Orders must be placed by Wednesday to receive a Thursday delivery.

For those in south Kansas City, don’t despair if you missed the deadline. Kat’s Kakery has a freezer full of keto items, such as pizzas, hot dogs, chicken and waffles, chili, lasagna, and a variety of desserts available at the store everyday except Sunday. The store also carries some Fattyhead products useful for pizzas.
For more information, check out Kat’s Kakery on Facebook or go to Marketwagon.com for delivery items.
