The South Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and South Kansas City Alliance (SKCA) have changed the date of their candidate forum for 5th and 6th District KCMO city council candidates in the April 4 municipal primary election to Wednesday, March 8, to avoid conflicts with other major events.

The event will kick off with a candidate meet and greet at 5:30 p.m., and the forum will run from 6 to 8 at the Chamber’s office at 1300 E. 94th St., Suite 100, in the Blue River Commerce Center on the site of the former Bannister Federal Complex on the east side of Troost and the north side of Bannister Rd.  Persons should enter from Troost.

The SKCA also is co-sponsoring two virtual forums for candidates for the Grandview and Hickman Mills school boards with the League of Women Voters of Kansas City/Jackson-Clay-Platte Counties.

Find details for these forums and many others in the March 1 edition of the Telegraph.
