The Bay Water Park at 7101 Longview Rd. which last year reduced hours and closed some of its most popular attractions periodically or for the entire season due to shortages of lifeguards and other staff is already hiring lifeguards and other staffers for this summer’s season.
Midwest Pool Management that operates many of the aquatic facilities of the KCMO Parks & Recreation Department is advertising for lifeguards; concession, deck & front desk attendants; and pool managers.
Lifeguards will receive a starting salary of $15 an hour. They must be at least 15 years old and be able to swim. Lifeguard training is available and must be successfully completed to be hired.
