In the Center School District, only three candidates filed for the three 3-year positions on its board of education, so there will be no election, and the filed candidates will be seated in April.
The candidates are Sam Cook, the current board vice president, Ira Boydston IV, and Marci Calvin. Boydston ran last year but did not win. Calvin served as a school board member from 2016 to 2020, including a short sprint as chairman.
Incumbent board members Amy Carr and Danielle Quinn did not seek reelection. Carr, Quinn and Cook were elected to three-year positions on the board in 2020.
