The Little Mermaid – Belton’s Memorial Park, 988 Commercial St. will host The Light Performing Arts Center & Flex Theater production of The Little Mermaid on Saturday, June 10, at 8 pm.

Prejudice & PrideThe Arts Asylum, 824 E Meyer Blvd., will be featuring a modern-American, gender-swapped folk musical take on Jane Austen’s classic novel, Pride & Prejudice with the production of Prejudice & Pride. June 16 – July 2. $25. www.theartsasylum.org.

Jim the Wonder DogMartin City Melodrama, 702 Blue Ridge Ext. in Grandview, presents this multi-mutt show that tells the true story of a Marshall, Missouri dog who had a truly re-bark-able talent for predicting the future. Leawood Stage Co. will performs Beauty and the Beast in July.

Theater for Young America’s “Time Machine” will be performed at Avila.

The Time Machine – Theater for Young America will present the play based on H.G. Well’s 1895 novel which travels through time discovering reoccurring inequalities. Acted by 6th – 12 Grade students.
