Conroy’s Public House has expanded its hours and menu at the Leawood location at 12924 State Line Rd. The Irish pub is now open for brunch on both Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm. Previously closed on Sundays, the Leawood location now remains open form 11 am to 10 pm (kitchen closes at 9 pm).
Weekend brunch menu items include homemade chive and cheddar biscuits with spicy sausage gravy, a Scotch Egg Benedict with an Irish whisky Hollandaise sauce, Irish scones, chorizo flatbread, corned beef hash, French toast and avocado toast topped with an egg and served with Irish bacon. A full Irish breakfast that includes eggs, ham, sausages, blood pudding, fried potatoes and sliced tomatoes is now available all day on the menu.
All items are made fresh in the kitchen.
“We are a scratch kitchen, which is not something you find anymore,” says General Manager Dan Creach, adding that everything, down to the ranch dressing, is made from scratch. “We will never change from that.”
Other additions to the main menu include fish tacos, sliders, pulled pork and spicy chicken sandwiches, and pizzas. Pizzas will replace the Leawood location’s flatbread menu. Conroy’s pizzas have proven popular among customers at the Overland Park and Fairway locations, especially the Reuben sandwich pizza, according to Creach. The flatbreads are now only available during Happy Hour, 3 to 6 pm, and on Mondays when Happy Hour is the all-day special.
Hours are 11 am to midnight Monday thru Saturday and 11 am to 10 pm Sunday.
