DESCRIPTION:Volunteers will remove invasive species and maintain/improve the Fox Hollow trail system. \nPlease email ruth.stephens@kcmo.org  if you are planning to attend. Please include if you need tools or will bring your own. \nThe workday is weather dependent and will be cancelled if actively raining or snowing and temperatures are under 40 degrees.  You will be emailed if the day is cancelled due to inclement conditions.\nThe following are recommended for these events: \n\nwear sunglasses/protective eyewear\, work gloves\, sturdy shoes/boots\, long pants and long sleeves (if weather allows)\,\napply insect/tick repellent to your skin and clothes\,\nbring loppers and/or hand saw\, if you have them\,\nand bring a refillable water bottle.\n\nYou may encounter insects\, poison ivy and/or prickly plants\, varied terrain as well as poking eye-level branches.
