SUMMARY:Martin City Gym Groundbreaking
DESCRIPTION:September 7 at 9:00 am at Martin City K8 School\, located at 201 E. 133rd \nMartin City K8 School and Grandview C-4 District leaders are excited to celebrate MCK8’s latest construction project\,\na new and improved gymnasium that will provide more space and opportunities for students\, staff\, and the\ncommunity. The new gymnasium will be an add on-site and will allow seating for 750 students. It is the first building\nto be constructed in the district in 17 years. This will also allow for the remodeling of the former gym to be a fine arts\nfacility and auxiliary gym for students and the community. It is one of the various projects that are a part of the\ndistrict’s $45 million bond issue that passed in April of 2021. That was the largest bond passed in district history.
