There will be singing and talks with Santa about activities at the North Pole. After the train\, the Railroad will serve hot chocolate and a cookie for each passenger. The gift shop will be open too. The train is located at 502 E. Walnut in Belton. Reservations are processed in the order they are recieved. Only 46 seats are avaliable per train and they sell quickly. DESCRIPTION:South Kansas City residents and business operators will be brought up to date on the current status of major economic development projects in the Southland at the upcoming 6th Annual Economic Development Summit sponsored by the South Kansas City Alliance (SKCA). The free event titled “Job Growth Continues” will focus on the progress of major developments and new business opportunities. It will run from 8 to 11:30 AM on Saturday\, December 14\, at Avila University’s Whitfield Center\, 11901 Wornall Rd.\, and will include a hot breakfast and buffet. Scheduled speakers include: Owen Buckley\, president of Lane4 Property Group\, Roxane Hill\, executive director of Wonderscope Children’s Museum of Kansas City\, and Jon Stephens\, president and CEO of Port KC. Representatives are also scheduled to attend to discuss multiple new developments in the Martin City area. Persons who wish to attend the Summit are urged to register at Eventbrite or on the SKCA website at http://southkcalliance.org as soon as possible since Whitfield Center only seats 160 people and the event is expected to reach capacity very quickly.

SUMMARY:All Aboard The Santa Train
DESCRIPTION:Santa is coming back to visit the Belton\, Grandview & Kansas City Railroad this year on Saturday\, December 7th and December 14. Times of departure are 9 AM\, 10:30 AM\, Noon\, and 1:30 PM. Santa will join passengers for a 40 minute train ride\, visit with guests and stop for photos\, all while the train moves down the track. There will be singing and talks with Santa about activities at the North Pole. After the train\, the Railroad will serve hot chocolate and a cookie for each passenger. The gift shop will be open too. The train is located at 502 E. Walnut in Belton. Reservations are processed in the order they are recieved. Only 46 seats are avaliable per train and they sell quickly. The cost is $17 per passenger three years and older\, $5 for children under the age of 3.
