DESCRIPTION:Mental Health/Mental Illness Awareness Walk \nSeptember 13\, 11:30 am   (2.2 mile walk) \nStarts at Believers in Glory\, 100 Main St.\, Belton \nFinishes at Lord of Love Lutheran Church\, 8306 E 171st St \nFree \nIn addition to the walk\, the event includes a panel of speakers on the topic of bullying\, Belton Police Department officers providing and showing the use of Narcan and Narcan strips (which can detect drug laced additives)\, music\, a skit and vendors. The event is hosted by the National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI) Belton support group.  \nJoining them for the event are Mothers on the Move\, Justice and Dignity Motorcycle Riders and 45 area churches. The event is free. No registration is necessary for the walk.
