Numerous restaurants throughout the Kansas City area will be participating in Restaurant Week starting today, January 9th to Sunday, January 18th. Participants usually offer a multi-course meal at an affordable price for both lunch and dinner, usually $20 to $65. Over 240 restaurants have signed up.

Each year, restaurants pledge 10 percent of their proceeds to a non-profit. This year that organization is reStart which serves the homelessness.
