Walmart Super Center expands services to include health center

Fencing surrounding construction at the north end of Walmart, 1701 W. 133 St., will eventually reveal a health care center.

The Walmart Super Center at 1701 W 133rd St is currently being remodeled and expanded to create a better shopping experience for Walmart customers, according to Walmart spokesperson Merisa Ashbaugh. The 5,750 sq ft health care center being built on the north end will offer a full suite of health services. These services include primary care, labs, X-ray and EKG, behavioral health, dental, hearing, select specialty services, community health, and telehealth.

The store continues to be open during regular business hours and some renovations will be conducted at night, after closing.

This store remodel is one of 650 happening across 47 states and Puerto Rico this year.
