The new 6,700 square-foot Stop N Shop convenience store and gas station at 5151 E. Red Bridge Rd. just west of I-49 is planning to add outdoor seating this summer for customers who purchase food at the store.
Stop N Shop has a carryout food menu that is unique for area convenience stores featuring New Orleans Chicken & Seafood, Crazy Italian Pizza and Dunkin’ Donuts pastries and coffee.
Its chicken and seafood menu includes Cajun chicken tenders, fish and shrimp; Cajun sweet & sour, crispy and traditional chicken wings; chicken sandwiches; mashed potatoes & gravy; French fries; red beans & rice; jambalaya; macaroni & cheese; honey butter biscuits; and boudin bites. Persons are asked to call ahead for large to go orders at 816-966-2220.
While the store is open 24 hours daily with security personnel on-site from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. to assure customer and employee safety, its kitchen operations are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Besides its large snack and non-alcoholic beverage selections, Stop N Shop carries distilled spirits and has an extensive selection of wine and domestic and imported beer and malt beverages.
