5th District Clean up this Saturday
The fall neighborhood cleanups have begun.
First up is the 5th District, this Saturday, August 29, from 8 am to noon. The 5th District covers an area following Holmes east to the Blue Ridge Cut-off, and 435 to Swope Parkway and 51st St.
There are three drop off locations:
- Southeast High School, 3500 E Meyer Blvd. tires, trash, bulky items, leaf & brush, electronics (see costs).
- Center Alternative School, 8434 Paseo. Tires, trash, bulky items, leaf & brush.
- 2801 E 80th St. Tires, trash, bulky items, leaf & brush
There are costs for electronics: CRT monitors $5/ea • CRT TVs 26” or less $30/ea • CRT TVs 27” or greater $50/ea • LED/LCD/Plasma TVs $20/ea • Any freon containing unit $10/ea
Dumpsters are available upon request, first come first serve basis.
