The installation of inclusive play equipment and safety surfacing at Carl Migliazzo Park, off Minor Drive and Pennsylvania, is now complete, according to Parks and Recreation.
The $150,000 project approved by the Public Improvements Advisory Committee (PIAC) for 2021/2022 was completed on Friday, October 28, with the final addition of the surfacing.
“We need to keep people off of it for 48 hours,” warns Chad Hollingsworth, Parks and Recreation project manager. After an inspection on Monday morning, October 31, the playground is expected to open to the public early in the week.
