The long-awaited reopening of the totally renovated former Sun Fresh grocery store at 11212 Holmes Rd. in the Red Bridge Shopping Center will take place on Wednesday, December 18, with a ribbon cutting by KCMO Mayor Quinton Lucas at 2:30 p.m. followed by festivities from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Festivities at the new Red Bridge Farm Fresh Market will include photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus and The Grinch, giveaways and specials for shoppers.
Farm Fresh is a locally owned grocery chain that is well known for its outstanding in-house made-from-scratch baked goods, fresh meat & seafood and produce including locally grown products at its other area stores.
The Red Bridge store also will feature a kitchen with ready-to-eat meals and a salad bar, a pizza shop, and a counter serving ice cream treats, fruit bowls and smoothies. The store will have a covered patio with seating.
“Farm Fresh Market will be a full-service grocery store that enhances the shopping experience well beyond what was offered by the previous store,” said Moe Muslet, Farm Fresh Market manager.
More information about the new store can be found online at kcfarmfresh.com.
