KCMO residents and others with an interest in city services are invited to attend an upcoming public meeting in south Kansas City to let city leaders know their thoughts on what programs and services should be given top priority in the city’s May 1, 2025, through April 30, 2026, fiscal year budget.

The meeting will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 1, in Goppert Theater at Avila University, 11901 Wornall Rd.

Those unable to attend the meeting can provide input using the city’s budget feedback survey. The survey will be open until March 5.

After the public input phase, budget amendments will be submitted and city council expected to adopt the final fiscal year budget on March 20.
