The recently opened winery portion of Rosehill Gardens welcomes two signature acts to the venue, located at 311 E. 135th Street. Wine, beer and spiked slushies are available for sale (21 and older) with open seating among the gardens open to all ages. Dancing is welcome!
Saturday, April 26 is Calypso Night featuring Calypso Buz Tropical Island Duo, with rhythms that promise to transport winter-weary Kansas Citians to tropical locales. The winery will craft specialty rum cocktails for the evening. Performance starts at 6 pm. “No passport needed.”
Turkey Bone & Full Count Band take the stage on May 4. This seasoned local blues group guarantees a fun time, with feels from the old Kansas City blues scene. Performance is 1 to 4 pm.
