Around 11:15 pm Friday, ambulance services responded to meet police on a reported injury collision with critical injuries. Preliminary investigation revealed that a blue Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling on the entrance ramp from 87th Street to northbound I-435. The operator of the Harley was traveling at a speed that was too fast for the curvature of the entrance ramp. The operator lost control and was ejected totally off the motorcycle. The operator was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The motorcyclist is currently in very critical condition, and the investigation is ongoing.
