At 1:45 pm, Ambulance services arrived to assist Midtown Police Officers on a reported fatality crash at 96th Terr and James A Reed.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a Silver SUV ran over a toddler in a residential driveway. The toddler was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced deceased shortly after by the medical staff.
The driver of the vehicle is identified and remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
