Production deals in murder, revenge and a plot twist

Avila University’s School of Performing Arts presents The Mousetrap by Agatha Christie, this weekend at The Goppert Theater.

Performances are at 7:30 pm on October 2-4 and at 2 pm on Sunday, October 5.

The Mousetrap is considered the world’s longest-running play, captivating audiences since 1952.

Director Todd Lanker notes that beyond the murder mystery, the play reveals “a tale of guilt, trauma, and coming to terms with the past… all wrapped in a tale of intrigue, suspicion, and murder.”

Tickets are $10 and $8 for seniors/students. Free for Avila students and children under 10.

To reserve tickets, contact the Avila Box Office at 816-501-3699 or box.office@avila.edu.
