Leaf & Brush Curbside Pickup in KCMO

Residents may set out up to 20 bags for city collection

The first of two free curbside pickups of leaves and brush this fall in KCMO from 63rd St. south will be in the afternoons and early evenings after regular trash and recycling collections on persons regular trash days Monday-Friday, October 20-24.

Sacks/bundles should be set curbside no later than 7 a.m. on trash day.

The city will collect up to 20 paper sacks of leaves and/or 2-foot by 4-foot bundles of brush tied with twine (all weighing less than 40 pounds) will be picked up.

No plastic bags will be accepted, nor will sacks or bundles sealed or tied with duct tape or mixed with trash. Only masking tape should be used to seal sacks.

If sacks of leaves and bundles of brush are not collected on regular trash days, persons should leave them curbside and call 311 one business day after their trash collection day to report the missed collection.

The second round of curbsite collection will be November 17-21 for south KC.

Raytown Drop Off Site

KCMO residents with photo IDs can take their leaves and brush for free from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays to the city drop-off site at Missouri Organics Leaf & Brush, 10301 Raytown Rd.
