The City of Leawood will perform pavement maintenance to 135th Street, resulting in periodic lane closures from November 1 to 26 between Fontana St and State Line Road.
City crews will repair and seal potholes using flexible road-repair material that fills wider cracks and helps prevent future damage. Work is weather permitting.
Message boards will be placed along 135th Street to alert drivers in advance of the closures.
The city encourages motorists to plan ahead, allow extra time and use caution when driving through the area.
