The KCMO Police Department is providing two opportunities for area residents to help less fortunate neighbors this holiday season.
Through Monday, December 1, KCPD Patrol stations are accepting new coats of all sizes.
For more information persons may contact KCPD Social Service Specialist Tamara McIntosh at tamara.mcintosh@kcpd.org.
From 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, persons may bring toys to benefit children in the Center & Hickman Mills School Districts to the United Missouri Bank Branch facility it shares with The Roasterie at 1310 Carondelet Dr. on the northeast corner of Carondelet & State Line Rd. for the Department’s annual Cram-A-Cruiser Holiday Toy Drive.
Donors and their families are welcome to enjoy cocoa, snacks and crafts with Santa Claus and his helpers and get their pictures taken with Santa at the event.
For more information, contact KCPD Community Interaction Officer Mary McCall at Mary.McCall@kcpd.org.
