6th District Cleanup @ First Baptist Church

The 6th District Cleanup will be October 18 with drop-off sites at First Baptist Church of Kansas City, 100 W. Red Bridge Rd., and at South Broadland Presbyterian Church, 7850 Holmes Rd., both of which will accept leaves & brush, trash & bulky items and tires with & without rims and offer free on-site shredding.

Both sites also will accept computers & networking equipment and home audio & video equipment for recycling for no charge, and the First Baptist site also will accept copiers, fax machines, printers & scanners for recycling for no charge.

There is a $5 fee for CRT monitors, a $20 fee for LCD TVs and a $50 fee for projection TVs at both sites. There is a $30 fee for CRT TVs at the First Baptist site and a $30 fee for CRT TVs 26 inches or less and a $50 fee for CRT TVs 27 inches or more at the South Broadland site.
