Angel Street (Gaslight) @ Main Street Theater

September 5 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Merriam Webster selected the term “gaslight” as its 2022 word of the year, referring to a sustained form of psychological manipulation where a person questions his or her sanity. It’s also the topic of this year’s performance at Belton’s Main Street Theater.

The play Angel Street, commonly referred to as Gaslight, was written by Patrick Hamilton in 1939 and later adapted to the silver screen starring Charles Boyer and Ingrid Bergman.

The local performance stars Alan Palmer as Mr. Manningham and Alex Stutzman as Mrs. Manningham and runs September 5-7 and September 19-28. Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors, youth under 18 and college students.

Main Street Theater is located at 510 Main Street in Belton. Reservations are recommended. Learn more at mainstreettheaterbelton.com
