Because We Care: Meal Giveaway Event

Turkeys and all the fixings for Thanksgiving dinners will be given away to needy families from 10 AM to Noon on Saturday, November 20, at the Optimist Bingo Hal, 11154 Blue Ridge Blvd., in the Ruskin Shopping Center.
The Because We Care event is sponsored by the Hickman Mills Community Empowerment Center and a host of area churches and faith based groups, the Hickman Mills Community Alliance and the Kansas City Police Department.
Persons must register for the giveaway by November 18 at http://www.hickmanmillsec.org
