Cass County Civil War Roundtable Talk @ Harrisonville Chamber of Commerce

Tom Rafiner, here at the Burnt District Monument in Harrisonville, will speak on “The Enslaved Exodus from the Burnt District to Texas” at the November 11th meeting of the Cass County Civil War Roundtable held at the Harrisonville Chamber of Commerce building on the historic Harrisonville Square. In Missouri, thousands of homes burned down after Union General Order No. 11 was issued in 1863, forcing residents to evacuate the region. The meeting begins at 7 pm.
