Drink Your History: Whiskey @ Alexander Majors Historic Museum

Unbarrel the secrets of a truly American spirit at the first Drink Your History event of 2026! Wornall/Majors House Museum’s popular series returns to tell the tale of how unaged, often over-100-proof liquor grew into a smooth staple of American cups. From Civil War soldiers’ daily whiskey rations to the angel’s share lost in charred oak, there’s much to uncover. The evening features whiskey samples, a curated cocktail or two, and a lively historic talk. Tickets: $30 per person, or $75 for the full series.
