Pianist Charles Williams @ Jazz Vespers

Charles Williams, one of the great jazz pianists and performers in Kansas City, will headline the final Kansas City Jazz Vespers of this program year on Sunday evening, May 19, 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the historic First Baptist Church of Kansas City, Missouri, 100 West Red Bridge Road at Wornall Road.
“Why do we invite Charles Williams to be our final jazz performer every year? Easy. Our audience loves Charles. He is an awesome jazz pianist and performer and every May, he receives a standing ovation,” stated Dr. Stephen Jones, co-pastor of First Baptist Church.
KC Jazz Vespers features 100 minutes of professional jazz in a concert setting. No tickets and no entrance fees — a free-will offering is taken for the band in the inspirational interlude between the band’s two acts. The public is invited!
