This month Kansas City Parks and Recreation celebrates its 40th anniversary, including a special Recreation Day at Southeast Community Center, 4201 E. 63d Street, on Saturday, July 12.
This free field-day style event is suitable for all ages and encourages teamwork, physical activity and friendly competition.10 am to 2 pm.
