Slurpee With A Cop

The public is invited to attend the annual Slurpee With A Cop event at the Grandview 7-Eleven Store at 6506 Main St. from 3 to 6 PM Tuesday April 13.

The event will feature crime prevention information, giveaways, including free Slurpees, prizes, inspiring music from Life 88.5 radio station and opportunities for community members to interact with officers from the Grandview Police Department and personnel from the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Children and families can have their pictures taken with Thor and Hawkeye from Wonder League KC, Gruff the Crime Dog from the Police Department and Grandview police officers. Children also can have their pictures taken in a police cruiser or sitting on a police motorcycle.
