The Mystery of Christmas
“Experience a new version of the Christmas classic, The Nutcracker Ballet, that actually tells the true story of Christmas. Instead of traveling to the Kingdom of Sweets, the audience is taken back in time to witness the birth of the Savior. Dancing to the melodies of Tchaikovsky’s classic score, angels lead the startled shepherds to the newborn King. In Act II, the nations celebrate His birth with exciting ethnic dances. In its 22nd year running, The Mystery of Christmas brings us back to the reason we celebrate the season.”
The performance will take place at the White Theatre at The Jewish Community Center, 5801 W. 115th Overland Park. The December 13th performance is at 7:30 PM, and is also preceded by a Gala Dinner Event at 6:00 PM ($75 a plate, attendance is optional). There will be two December 14th performances, one being a Matinee at 1:00 PM and the other being an Evening performance at 6:00 PM
