The Veterans of Comedy @ The Comedy Club of Kansas City
“May is Military Appreciation month. What better way of celebrating than with the Veterans of Comedy. The Veterans of Comedy is a group of military veterans and veteran comedians who have chosen to represent and support talented veterans who desire to share their gifts with the world. “Our mission is to use laughter as a tool to create and foster bonds between Veterans and their communities. We partner with organizations and groups who provide resources and education to transitioning Vets. Through performances at military institutions, comedy clubs, casinos, and theaters worldwide, we are able to demonstrate the power of laughter as a method for coping and connecting.” The Veterans of Comedy will be collecting basic hygiene products (body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, and deodorant) for the Veterans Community Project of KC. Please bring any new, SEALED products you would like to donate. These items will be distributed to Veterans in need in the KC area. There will also be raffles with awesome prizes.”
*Proceeds will benefit the Veterans of Comedy and Veterans Community Project of KC in their ongoing endeavors to help Veterans in need in our community.*
